LOVE the new Rose's Portrait Tattoo Stamp from Bombshell Stamps

I LOVE my new stamps.

This one is actually covering one of those horrible lawyer magnets that come with the phone book.
My frig is having a make-over.
After coloring her...I ran her through the Xyron machine and slapped it over Joe Schmo Lawyer!!!

Bombshell Bloghop- Look Ma I Did It!!

This month the theme was a little more open to interpretation! 

Call it a Mother's Day theme....or Just fun. 

This month, we want to see what you are made of....and what you can make.

I asked everyone to make any sort of project, a card, a layout, an altered object...whatever...

They just needed to include a handmade embellishment.

It could be a flower, button, etc... they just needed to make it.

Then, pair it with a great Bombshell stamp and get ready for the bloghop.

What is a handmade embellishment.....that you will find out on the hop.

I have a couple of examples before my final project for the hop:

This first one is layered flowers with a bottlecap center. 

I added a shrinky dink printed with a Bombshell stamps Day of the Dead skull!

This is just a "pre-made" flower, but by adding some stamps, sort of made it my own.

The dice on this card were made from Fimo clay.

This month I wanted to use the COOL new Bombshell Motorcycle Stamps!!!

They totally rock...and a hint...they will be a great plus for next month's hop....

First I couldn't find my "checkered" ribbon....so I made some!

Then using shrinky-dink plastic I used a motorcycle stamp and made two buttons for the card.

I used the same stamp for the center of the card.

Now look at all the other cool stuff our "hoppers" came up with!

A Gauche Alchemy Project - and a mini me project

I had an assigment to alter something for the Gauche Alchemy DT.  I I ran into my inspiration from an altered book group. I saw the blog link and she asked us to take a look at something new she tried……so I did. I love altering bottles but these were really cool:

I have a few bottles sitting around…lying in wait….and there it was…the bottle of whisky. I thought it would be cool to make a “Manly Man” bottle! So I used vintage pictures, cigar labels and of course LOTS of Gauche goodies. I used items from Wholey Sheets, It’s All Gravy Kit Brown Color Kit, Banana Hammock Yellow color kit, Lady Marmelade Orange Kit and some odds and ends out of other kits, and the beloved Punchinella.

I used hot glue and tried some of Martha Stewart’s decoupage glue and sealer. It was the first time I used it, and I really like it.


And NOW for the mini me....My daughter wanted to make an altered bottle.  Hers is for "potions"

Everytime I go to the post office it's more than the last time....for the same thing!

Due to this, I am not going to be selling items "per piece" on artfire.  I will list them as lots.
They will be coordinated lots that will include paper, ribbons, stickers,tools, etc...

Some will coordinate by color, others by theme (such as Love, Family, Sports, etc..)

There will be some incredible deals and for the most part....you will be paying wholesale price!!

I was feeling like "Cool Mom" when I got my card for Mother's Day....and in it was a gift certificate and appointment time for a new tattoo!!

Just got it today...so I will post pics when it heals.
