Woo Hoo Bombshell Humpday Hop - Altered Style !!

Welcome!
At Bombshell Stamps we have a few different challenges going on,
so stop and check them out!
HERE

There is a great Sketch Challenge
and a Valentine's Day Challenge
and today we are doing our
Altered Item Hop

There are so many great blogs for you to check out.

My items is a Valentine's Day inspired altered item.
I started with a Whitman's sampler box. (chocolate....Valentine's Day....)

I removed the paper around the whole box, so that the new paper would adhere.
I covered it with Heidi Grace/Fiskars paper that I picked up at Big Lots.
The paper was $1 for each pack of 15 sheets.
What a deal!  The polka dot paper is flocked and shimmery.
The flowered paper is shimmered and foiled.

The lace is some vintage lace I already had and the buttons were removed from an old shirt.
The leaves are from a fall garland purchased last year.
I used beige Prima flowers with brass snap eyelets in the center.
I added a wedding ribbon and string of pearls near the bottom.

The green rectangle strip was made using the Martha Stewart doily punch along both sides.
The large green scalloped circle was made using a Paper Shapers punch.

The large stamps is from the Bombshell stamps set 'Til Death
The sentiment at the bottom is also from that set.
They are edged with Tim Holtz distressing ink around the edges.
The bird and banner are colored with Copic markers and colored pencils.

I had a lot of fun making this and I am reminded that Bombshell Stamps can be so versatile.

OK, enough of mine....go check out all the other great altered items.
Oh, I forgot.....there are even prizes available, in addition to all the great mojo you are going to get!
