Bombshell - Gauche Alchemy Blog Hop "Some Like it Hot, Hot, Hot"

This is going to be an amazing hop, glad you are joining us.
You get to see some work by not only the usual
Bombshell Stamps group,
but also from the Gauche Alchemy DT.
If you find any broken links in the hop, just come back here and pick up the next one.
***Also don't forget...there are prizes from Bombshell Stamps and
Gauche Alchemy and all you need to do is leave some love along the hop!

Because we had an even more diverse group,
we had even more "wiggle" room on this month's hop.

The title of this hop is insprited by the movie
"Some like it Hot" and the song "Hot, Hot, Hot"
and our blazing hot summer!

So I suggested:
Summer themes
Flames on the Hot Rod stamps
…and of course Summer colors

I also suggested that if you have Gauche Alchemy kits...
try Banana Hammock, Lady Marmalade
 or Scarlett Red Fever.

I decided I had enough heat and used the movie
"Some Like it Hot" for my piece.
Marilyn Monroe.... of course a Bombshell.

I wanted my Bombshell to look almost like
a comic book character,
so I didn't color her in this time.
The clothes were cut on a Cricut using the SCAL program
and the files from Bombshell Stamps.

The embellishments are all from Gauche Alchemy kits.
The ribbon and sewing pattern were used to wrap up some items
I received from them.
The other items came from the following kits:
Blue Slush
It's All Gravy and
Purple People eater
(the white ticket had purple ribbon around it)

Train picture - internet
Stamps:Bombshell Stamps (Bombshell Angel)
Clear & Simple Stamps Traveller set (Wish You Were Here).
Adhesive: Beacon adhesive.
Chalk & Ink: Ranger distressing ink (antique linen)
                     Colorbox Fluid Chalk (Prussian Blue)

Okay you have a lot of hopping to do,
so you had better get movin'.

  13. Gorgeous Kas. It reminds me of old, old comic strips, she looks like she could have stepped straight out of a vintage sewing pattern. I love your thinking behind this.
